After months of bargaining over wages, pension and a ratification bonus after the last agreement was rejected, the bargaining committee reached a tentative agreement with Brightspeed of Missouri, Inc. formerly Lumen/CenturyLink of Missouri on a new collective bargaining agreement.

CWA Local 6218/Consolidated Communications Katy, TX Bargaining Report #5

CWA District 6 & Local 6218 continued bargaining virtually with Consolidated Communications. Today started with CWA passing a counter proposal on a new title that will handle broadband installations. The Company agreed to our suggested language changes, however countered with lower wages than what we were seeking.

Today CWA District 6 & Local 6218 continued bargaining virtually with Consolidated Communications. We were able to reach a couple of tentative agreements with positive language added to Article 6, as well as agreeing to an additional fixed holiday (President’s Day)!
