Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Your Bargaining Committee met with the Company today. The Union passed one new proposal. Nothing from the Company today. We continue to review all information as we remain steadfast in our efforts to secure a fair and just contract.
Make no mistake: if we want a better contract, we ALL have to participate.
That means showing up for all mobilization activities, informational picketing, and completing the Strike Vote if you haven’t already done so.
Our strength comes from our participation and solidarity. Every member matters.
The Company has drawn a line in the sand. They have made it clear that they do not want to change their position on benefits, wages, and FFI.
If WE do not show the Company that WE deserve a fair contract, they have little reason to change their position.
Now is the time for ALL of us to stand together, participate, and make our voices heard. Our unity and participation are what demonstrate how serious we are about securing a fair contract.
The District Vice President is requiring your attendance at a town hall Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 7:00pm to discuss the state of negotiations and determine our next steps going forward. This call is about YOUR contract. EVERYONE is expected to attend. Click on the link to join the town hall.
