Windstream Bargaining Report #12

On Friday February 25th, the committees met in Dallas, Texas to resume bargaining. Extensive discussions were held on the Company?s Group Health proposal. This proposal includes significant employee premium increases and a spousal surcharge provision. The Committees also discussed a company proposal regarding Article 14, Net Credited Service. The Company passed a summary of their proposed Group Health plan.

This is to advise you that the Union committee worked all day Wednesday and late into the evening writing counter proposals to the Company?s devastating proposals, which affects every member in this bargaining unit. The committee continued to work on Thursday morning to complete their work before we left Paducah.
