         On Thursday, July 28, we met with Verizon into the evening. Our main focus was the Healthcare counter proposal that Verizon passed us. The Company rejected the Union’s counter offer on Healthcare.

presented to the Company. After a very contentious conversation with the Company’s Committee

over our proposals, they will be taking another look at them. We also passed a counter proposal

Verizon has yet to counter or accept any of the proposals we have passed to them over the last

several days. Your Committee has rejected several proposals that Verizon has passed to us. We

On Monday your Union bargaining committee met all day going over the information that

Verizon provided us on Healthcare. We also looked at several of the Company’s proposals and

continue to assemble our counter proposals on several key issues that the Company wants

Verizon and your Union Committee met in full session on Friday. The Company gave a presentation over their Medical Benefits proposal. We have been working on proposals and counter proposals to pass to Verizon.
