DirecTV Bargaining Report - Tentative Agreement Reached

The Communications Workers of America has reached tentative agreements with DirecTV covering 2,100 technicians, warehouse and administrative workers in the Southeast (1,088 workers in CWA District 3), the Midwest (153 workers in CWA District 4) and the Southwest (896 workers in CWA District 6).

On Friday, September 23, 2016, your CWA Bargaining Committee met in multiple negotiation sessions with the Company Committee.  During the afternoonbargaining session the Company Committee presented the Union Committee with what it described as their “final offer.”

The CWA Bargaining Committee studied data regarding the DIRECTV and the AT&T Pension Plans on Thursday, September 22, 2016.   The Committee worked late into the night preparing amended bargaining demands to present to the Company on Friday morning.
