Windstream Bargaining Report #9

CONTRACT HAS BEEN EXTENDED

The Company and Union have agreed to extend all conditions of the current contract.  This extension will expire at midnight of March 6th, 2014.  Both parties have made some movement, but there are several major issues that we are far apart on that will need to be worked out before we have a tentative agreement.  The Unions Bargaining Committee remains committed to get a fair contract with the Company. During this extension all employees will continue to work their normal schedules.  The Bargaining Committee asks you to continue to mobilize around getting a fair contract.  Please make sure you continue to let your supervisor know what you expect from these negotiations.  Remember “UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE BEG”, “ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL”. We are in this together.
