Verizon Bargaining Report #17

   Your Union Committee is still at the table trying to reach a tentative agreement . We will not reach an agreement by expiration. We are far apart on very important Key issues and proposals that would change bargaining across the country. We, as your Bargaining Committee, will not settle for anything that is not fair and just for the members of this local. We will also not bargain against any other Union as the company is asking us to do. By demanding that we pay for the administrative cost to deduct cope dues from our paycheck. This would start a whole new line of attacks  for Verizon against Unions across this Country. We maybe small in number but we will not let Verizon step all over us.
