Union members and friends,

After four bargaining sessions, we are happy to report that we’ve come to an agreement on ground rules and are ready to begin negotiations! Much of today’s session was spent finalizing and preparing to sign the agreed-upon ground rules paperwork, allowing us to officially move forward.

We’ve also agreed to prioritize working on the professional bargaining unit’s contract first before moving on to the non-professional unit’s contract. Additionally, we’ve set dates for future bargaining sessions to continue negotiations, and we look forward to making meaningful progress in these upcoming meetings.

We’re excited to begin this important work and will keep you updated as negotiations progress.
