CWA solidarity for airline workers at Austin Airport

On December 14, AFA-CWA airline workers hosted pickets and rallies at over 20 airports across the country. We joined this day of action, as dozens of CWA members showed up at the Austin Airport to support our union siblings at United Airlines. CWA staff and members from Local 6132 out of Austin, Local 6143 out of San Antonio, and the Texas State Employees Union (TSEU) marched alongside flight attendants in their fight for a strong contract.

For months, airline workers at United Airlines have been picketing and rallying at airports across the country. The flight attendants at United Airlines are fed up with management’s greed. United Airlines recently announced over $1 billion in profits this last quarter but have still not signed a new contract with their workers. United Airlines flight attendants have been without a contract since 2021 and are ready to do whatever it takes to get there!
