Coming Soon! 2025 AT&T Southwest Bargaining
Dear CWA/AT&T SW Members,
As we approach the bargaining table for our next contract with AT&T Southwest, we find ourselves at a critical moment. Negotiations will begin March 4, 2025, and with our contract expiring at 11:59 pm on April 12, 2025, we must be ready to stand together and fight for the contract we deserve. Our bargaining team will be there every day, pushing for better wages, stronger job security, and the respect we have earned—but they cannot do it alone.
For years, AT&T was a company that built its success on the strength of its workforce. But today, the Company’s priorities have shifted. Instead of investing in union jobs, AT&T has chosen to outsource and offshore work, leaving thousands of hardworking employees in uncertain positions. Despite receiving billions in tax breaks, AT&T has continued to cut jobs instead of creating them, turning its back on the very workers who made it successful.
This is unacceptable.
Bargaining negotiations aren't just won at the table! Companies only deal seriously with their workers when they know that they are committed to doing whatever it takes to force a fair deal. But only you can decide that. Our Bargaining team is committed to fighting, but the membership is the source of our strength at the table.
Our fight in these negotiations is not just about a contract—it’s about demanding fair treatment, dignity, and respect for every worker.
We need AT&T to:
- Address the Company’s continuation of spending millions on Contractors and their shotty work, as we can and should perform a lot of this work within the bargaining unit.
- Guarantee fair wages and protections that reflect the value we bring to this company.
- Improve wages and contractual language in our lowest paid job titles in Appendix J.
- Provide real job security and protection of jobs while creating real opportunities for growth.
- Ensure affordable, high-quality healthcare by keeping our cost share at or below 29% for all employees and retirees.
AT&T can afford to do better—but they won’t unless we stand together and demand it.
The road ahead will require strength, unity, and action. We must be ready to mobilize, organize, and push back against corporate greed. When we stand together, we win. When we fight, we make change happen.
This is our time. Our future depends on what we do now. “Together, we fight to protect our future”
