Winstream Bargaining Report #13
Saturday began with an informational picket at the CWA Staff building in Dallas, TX. Approximately 25 members took part and WE thank you for your support. We also like to thank members from other locals and organizations that came out to support us as well.
Bargaining resumed Saturday with both committees exchanging proposals. Discussions were held on areas of agreement including: Net Credited Service, Differentials, Overtime, Works Schedules and Tours, and Responsible Union-Company relationship.
A long discussion was held concerning the Retail Sales Compensation Plan and the disparity of quotas and commission payouts in the various geographic areas.
The Union passed a revised proposal on Evolving Technologies.
The Company provided more information on the Group Medical, and the committees discussed Mandatory Overtime. The meeting adjourned to allow the committees to review the remaining items and will reconvene at 10:00am Sunday February 27th.
We will update this recorder as necessary to keep you informed of any changes as they occur. We are determined to stay at the table until a fair and equitable agreement is reached.
