Your CWA Bargaining Committee met today with the Company. The Union Committee rejected the Company’s package proposal.
The CWA Bargaining Committee presented to the Company a Counter Proposal Package. Included in the Counter Proposals are:
• A new Wage Proposal
• Pension Proposals for both the banded pension and BCB2 pension
• A Proposal on the 401(k)
• A Short Term Disability Plan
• Upgrades in the Call Centers
• Upgrades in the Information System Technician titles
• Upgrades in the Wireless Technician titles
• Upgrades in the MSC/RNOC titles
• Proposal to bring Health Care Benefits back into this Regional Agreement
• Quota Relief for Retail Sales Consultants
• The Elimination of Subcontracting
• New Grievance Procedure Language
• An Inter-Subsidiary Transfer Plan
• Safety Procedure in Company Facilities
• Overtime Improvements
• Improvements to Vacation Language
• Martin Luther King added as a Holiday
• Multilingual Differential
The Company presented documentation on absences and Sedgwick, the short term disability plan administrator. The Union Committee will be studying the data this evening. Tomorrow is Thursday, wear red and continue to Mobilize in the workplace.
