YP Holdings Bargaining Report #31

The Union and Company met all day in St. Louis, MO on September 10, 2014, to discuss the reasons why the contract did not ratify in August. The Union gave the Company the following reasons why the contract did not ratify: compensation plan, retiree healthcare, pension freeze and healthcare.  We had lengthy discussions regarding each item throughout the day. We made many attempts to get the Company to add the SSI (Surplus Severance Incentives) letter in order to reach another Tentative Agreement but to no avail. The Company has maintained and continues to maintain there is nothing more to give in this tentative agreement.

We are currently waiting for new modeling numbers to have another discussion regarding the compensation plan.

We want to thank the locals that participated in mobilization this week. It was greatly appreciated by the bargaining committee and the Company noticed.

We will update this as we have further discussions with the company.

Remember, united we bargain, divided YOU beg!!!

Thank you for your support.

In Solidarity,

Your Bargaining Committee
