VZED Bargaining Report #2

Today, both Verizon and your Union committees met in full session.  We had discussions over the proposed healthcare and the cost of it along with questions over the HRA (Health Reimbursement Account MOA).  Your bargaining committee passed proposals to Verizon.  With the contract set to expire on September 16, 2017 at midnight we are still very far apart on several key issues that we feel are extremely important to the members.  Remember on Thursdays we wear red shirts.  Tell your manager you want a fair contract.
