Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #80

The Union met with the Company today in the early afternoon. The Union presented the Company a counter offer to the Company’s last, best and final offer. After the Company reviewed the Union’s proposal the Company came back and rejected it all. We met again late in the evening for the Union to present a counter offer on Sickness and Disability. The Company’s response to this offer was also a rejection.
Your Bargaining Committee remains working hard to reach an agreement to present to the membership. It is apparent that the Company is not interested in reaching a fair and equitable agreement. We are committed to stay and fight for our members. Please stay engaged in all activities.
