Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #7

Local 6171 Bargaining Committee met this morning with the Company. The Union handed Verizon five proposals. The Company in return submitted seven to your Bargaining Committee for consideration. All of the proposals from Verigreedy were concessions to healthcare and other benefits.

The Company has shown us that despite the billions of dollars in profit we help them make, they still want more. We will update the website on Friday with specifics on the amount of the cost sharing the Company wants on premiums.

It’s time to get together and stand up for the work we do. Sign a non-member so we can show the Company that we are going to Unite and stand strong against their greed.
