Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #56

The Company and the Union met into the evening hours concerning the proposals still on the table. The Company presented what they considered improved Company Proposal #15, concerning pensions. The Company withdrew Company Proposal #17 on Lump Sum options. The Union presented Union Proposal #35 on Dispatch Clerks concerning the “Where’s my Tech” call procedure. The Union and the Company are still far apart on the major issues. The current expiration date is set to expire this Saturday, September 29, 2012. Remember to wear Red on Thursdays and Black on Fridays and Mobilize, Mobilize, Mobilize!
