Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #31

The Committees were in session today to go over several proposals. The Company detailed their proposed changes to the pension benefits. So far there has been no movement by the Company to address the Union’s concerns about “Jobs and Job Security” in our Local. We continue to try to resolve the serious issues between the parties. We are still far apart on the major issues such as Sickness and Disability. We continue to fight for you and have the Company bring meaningful proposals that more closely reflect long held benefits that our members have worked for and deserve. Please continue to stay strong, loud and committed to moving the Company towards an agreement that you the members deserve. Remember to wear Red on Thursdays and Black on Fridays.
