Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #2

On July 12,2012, the Local 6171 Bargaining Committee met with the Verizon Bargaining Committee.
The company passed 7 proposals to the Union. The Union bargaining committee is reviewing these proposals.

As always, we are here to work diligently to bring home the best contract possible. These negotiations are going to be very difficult. We need everyone to get fired up. Rest assured Verizon does not have our best interest in mind. It’s time to get involved and MOBILIZE your workgroups.
