Verizon Southwest Bargaining Report #17

Today, Thursday August 2, 2012 the Union met with the Company for another full committee session of bargaining. The Company passed the Union's two proposals. Both committees then tentatively agreed on five MOA’S.

Both committees again met for an afternoon session. The Union handed the Company two proposals. The Company handed the union one proposal. Both committees also tentatively agreed on three more MOA’S.

We are nine days away from contract expiration. The Company and the Union are still not ever in the same ballpark in these negotiations, Rest assured your bargaining committee will continue to work tirelessly an agreement by August 11, 2012 Check the Local website for MOBILIZATION updates.
