The Union and Company committees met last week February 13 -15 and is meeting this week February 20 - 22 to continue discussion on proposals presented by both sides. The Union requested additional information on attendance data, call volumes and pensions.
On February 14 an informational meeting for the LiveSource Operators was held. The Local Officers are working closely with your Bargaining Committee to assure every operator receives any assistance needed. The Company advised us on Friday, February 15, 2013 that Income Security Plan letters would be mailed to the home address on file to each Operator in the Weldon Springs Unit. If you have not received your letter please notify the Company immediately. The Local has rescheduled the meeting to educate members on the AFL-CIO Displaced Worker Program due to inclement weather today, Thursday. Information on the new date and time will be posted on the Union Board as soon as it becomes available.
The Mobilization Committee met on last night prior to the regular Membership meeting to discuss plans for the center. Job stewards in the CSSC will be distributing sheets for you to update your contact information TODAY. It is critical that each of you participate in every activity to show the Company we are serious about wanting a fair and just contract. If you have any questions see a job steward.
