Verizon Livesource Bargaining Report #1

Communications Workers of America and Verizon Southwest Livesource began contract negotiations on March 5, 2013. The Union’s Committee presented proposals to improve benefits on Article 18, Authorized Absences, Article 19, Holidays; Article 20, Vacations; Article 24, Concession Service; Article 27, Overtime; Article 28, Work Schedules & Tours; Article 29, Premium & Differential Pay; Article 10, Force Adjustment and Article 9, Definitions.  The Company’s Committee presented proposals on Article 21, Short Term Disability; Article 28, Group Insurance; Article 25, Pension Plan; MOA-Pension Benefits; MOA-Work at Home; MOA on Comprehensive Medical, LTD Pension Minimums, Vision Plan and VEBA.  Both Committees continue to meet and will continue to present proposals.  The Union’s Committee is committed to reach a tentative agreement by March 2013. 

Remember to wear red on Thursdays and black on Fridays.
