Verizon Bargaining Report #8

         On Thursday, July 28, we met with Verizon into the evening. Our main focus was the Healthcare counter proposal that Verizon passed us. The Company rejected the Union’s counter offer on Healthcare. We also went over several other proposals that are still on the table, as well as passing  a number of information requests to further understand the Company’s reasoning for their proposals. With the expiration quickly approaching, we advised the Company that we would have to see some good faith movement from them as well. We stated that this round of negotiations is not going to be a take and no give situation.
