Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative Bargaining Report #3

Your Bargaining Committee continued negotiations today with Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative management to discuss all outstanding proposals.  In particular, the parties held lengthy discussions regarding group insurance.  Afterwards, the parties recessed and reconvened late in the evening to continue discussions.  The parties reached a Tentative Agreement on the following proposals and are subject to reaching a Final Agreement:

Articles 1 – Recognition, Article 2 – Cooperation, Article 3 - Union Security, Article 4 – Agency , Shop and Payroll Deductions, Article 5 – Management Rights, Article 7 – Grievance and Arbitration Procedures, Article 8 - Union Representation, Article 13 – Leave of Absence, Article 14 – Safety, Health and Physical Examinations, Article 17 – Work in Higher Classifications, Article 19 – Tools and Equipment, Article 20 – Bulletin Boards, Article 21 – No Strikes No Lockout, Article 22 – Union Activities, Article 23 – Waiver of Right to Reopen Negotiations, Article 25 – Discipline, Article 26 – Temp, Regular and Introductory Defined, Article 27 – Pay Period, and Article 28 – Non-Discrimination
