Mobility Bargaining Report #20

Your CWA Bargaining Committee met today with the Company.  The Union Committee continued to request data regarding the Company proposed Short Term Disability Plan and the proposed elimination of Paid Sick Days.  The Company provided documentation to the CWA Committee on the costs associated with absence from work and approved disabilities during the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. 
The Union Committee asked questions concerning the Company’s proposal to eliminate pensions for all employees hired after January 1, 2013.  The Company has also presented a proposal for no raises to any existing pensions for the life of the new Labor Agreement.  The two Committees will meet again tomorrow, Sunday February 19, 2011.
