Mobility Bargaining Report #18
Your CWA Bargaining Committee met today with the Company. The Company presented data to the Union Committee regarding two Company proposals on Absences and the Disability Plan.
The Company has presented a bargaining proposal to eliminate Article 21 – Absences, Section 6. Illness and Injury. This proposal would eliminate all paid sick days for all employees.
The second Company proposal would change the payout formula for the Disability Plan and change the maximum amount of weeks for payout from the current 52 weeks to 26 weeks.
The Union Committee rejected two other Company proposals.

The two Committees will meet again tomorrow, Friday, February 17, 2012. Don’t forget to wear black and continue to Mobilize in the workplace.
