Helena Labs Bargaining Report #5

 

The Joint Committees met last week, recessed for the weekend and reconvened on Monday.  We have met each day and made progress in some areas.  The Union countered the Company's meager proposal on a substantial wage increase with what we felt was a substantial increase our members deserve for their hard work.  The Company has rejected our proposals on increased time off from work citing poor attendance.  We have not removed our demands and will fight to the end to obtain a fair contract for our members! YOUR DEMANDS ARE STILL ON THE TABLE!!!!  Substantial progress was made today on Healthcare increases proposed by the Company.  We are still reviewing proposals made by the Company on changes to Medical Leave, Holiday Pay, Vacation, and Sick Pay Benefits.   WEDNESDAY IS CAMO DAY      *********         THURSDAY IS RED DAY!!!!!
