Frontier Bargaining Report #91
12/07/2022
Sisters and Brothers,
As we just entered another month of contract negotiations, we are not discouraged but rather encouraged that we continue to make progress and have meaningful discussions over outstanding issues. While the length of bargaining usually doesn't take this long after expiration, we remind you of the 2012 negotiations that lasted into April of 2013. This is not our intention to go that long, but we will remain vigilant and are committed to being a good steward for our brothers and sisters. As we close in on the holidays, the Union will continue to meet with the company despite some of the committee members having vacation time off that they will be taking but will be available to get on a call if we need to discuss movement and progress. We are dealing with a company like no other. California has not had a successor agreement in well over a year and District 4 has not had one since earlier this year. Just remember that your bargaining committee is stalwart and will continue to work tirelessly to bring you a contract you can agree to.
Please keep sending in pics of shoddy contractor attempts at our jobs.
The company loves the use of contracting.
Don't forget that Nick wants your input on YAMMER.
Stay Strong, Stay United,
Your CWA Bargaining Committee
