Frontier Bargaining Report #71

Brothers and Sisters,

As another week of bargaining comes to a close this committee and the company are still a ways apart on the last few major issues including wages, insurance and retiree benefits but we continue to assess and readjust the outstanding proposals in an effort to try and bring these items to an acceptable level. 

As bargaining continues, wages and contracting issues remain two of our major obstacles in reaching an equitable contract.  For the past few weeks we have been stuck with little to no movement but we are beginning to see some movement in the right direction.  

As we have expressed repeatedly to the company, anyone without a million dollar job can see the real life cost of inflation and can understand the detriment of increased healthcare cost as well as the loss of benefits is unacceptable.  We will continue through the weekend in an effort to bring the final few items to an acceptable closure
