Frontier Bargaining Report #56
9/29/2022
Sisters and Brothers,
We would like to begin with our thoughts and prayers for those affected by IAN. The devastation that has happened is still not finished and is horrific.
The committee has been in contact with the company throughout the day although there were no proposals passed or agreed to. Your committee went through the company's last package for settlement to see if there was any ground to be made. We did clear off several items this week. We are taking a hard look and feel we may have a good alternative to what the company is seeking regarding retiree healthcare. We are crafting the language and will then have the district's attorney review it to make sure it is compliant.
We have also passed a counter proposal on Wages.
Please continue to do what you can to show management that we are united. Continue to send the pics through the link on the shoddy contractor work. Work to the rule and work safely. Safety cannot be ignored to meet some jobs per day expectation by the company.
In Unity,
The Bargaining Committee
