Frontier Bargaining Report #52
9/23/2022
Gentlewomen and Brethren,
There were no formal meetings conducted with the company today. The extensive request for information regarding the possible healthcare ruination with BCBS of Texas that we passed on Wednesday remains unanswered. The company had thought they would have it fulfilled yesterday and stated they should have it finalized today. The jury is still out on that. Your bargaining committee's commitment to these negotiations is unshakable. We have and continue to remain available and prepared to meet throughout the day, the evening, and the weekend as well. We will continue to stand fast and be prepared for when the company decides to re-engage the Union at the table.
We have empathy for the frustration, you the members are feeling, and we, the bargaining committee are very mindful of this. Keep in mind there are two other contracts across the country past their original expiration and one well over a year. Needless to say, we are in this for the long haul and have taken an unwavering stand against the king and his kingdom. We have continued to work on crafting proposals and counter-proposals in an effort to get you the fair and just contract you deserve.
Stay Safe, make sure you are doing safety checks on your trucks/vans and work to the rule. Quality over quantity keeps customers, not the other way around. Sign up a non-member to strengthen our numbers.
In Unity,
Your Bargaining Committee
