Sisters and Brothers,
Today your Bargaining Committee met with the company twice, once to pass two counter-proposals and the other to address the issue of safety over profit.
Due to the fact that our extension is coming to a close, the company passed and this committee accepted an extension to our contract until September 23, 2022 at 11:59 PM in a continued effort to bring you a fair and just contract. The contract remains in full effect with no changes during the extension. Progress and movement is starting to show from the company through the dedication and vigilance of your committee.
This committee would like to express its appreciation to the membership of this Union and everyone else for their outpouring of support for the family of our fallen Brother Josh Schulze.
