Sisters and Brothers,

The company finally provided answers to questions we asked the lead safety manager for the company. Why it would take 7 days to get them if the safety rules are already in existence is quite baffling to us. This is just another way to stall the negotiations at the table. We have finished our counter regarding Healthcare which should be presented to the company tomorrow. With the extension set to expire on Saturday, August 27, we remain committed to not settle for what the company is proposing so far. The company's initial wage increase is insulting, to say the least. We are far apart on several issues but are trying to find a way to get to an agreement.
