Frontier Bargaining Report #25

8/22/22

Sisters and Brothers,

With this week’s change in the weather, your committee wants YOU to make your Safety the priority, no matter on the clock or off.  If you operate a company vehicle make sure you are doing your daily safety check and reporting any concerns to Fleet and your supervisor.

If you work from home, change your email profile's background to the picture at the bottom of this report.

Today your bargaining committee crafted a counter-proposal to the company’s overinflated healthcare offer.

Keep checking the CWA 6171 Facebook page and website for updates on mobilization.

Here's Frontier's response on the issue of increased contracting:

“Like most companies, we’re using contractors to fill a gap as we actively recruit new talent in a tight labor market,” the company said. “Other factors have also pushed us to engage more contractors than normal, like weather-related repair issues, meeting PUC service requirements and employees not willing to meet overtime requirements.”---Los Angeles Daily News---
