Frontier Bargaining Report #22

8/17/22

Sisters and Brothers,

During our meeting with the company today, the company passed a revision to their work at home proposal.  We are reviewing it to see if it meets the needs of the membership.  It doesn’t!

On Friday, the Union will finally get to ask follow up questions to the healthcare proposal the company provided on July 21st.  The delay has been the company’s inability to find anyone at Anthem that could address our questions that was not on vacation.

The company is not shying away that contracting is their plan of the future to repay the shareholders for the bailout of the bankruptcy.  What the company fails to realize is the company’s success doesn’t happen in the boardroom, it happens on the frontlines.  You are the backbone of the company.

Everyone work to rule, ask to review your employee file and call you supervisor to ask if they value you as an employee and tell them to tell labor to give us a fair contract.

Be on the lookout for a link to record your strike vote selection.  With the extension expiration looming around the corner, it is of utmost importance that you make your voices heard on a possible work stoppage.

Frank did not vote or participate in mobilization.  Don’t be a Frank!

Frank
