Frontier Bargaining Report #19
8/12/22
Sisters and Brothers,
The Union met with the company in a joint session today with the Environmental Health and Safety representative over the Frontier footprint. We discussed the company’s current Covid policy that we were provided; it was determined that the latest version of the policy was developed in 2020 and revised over a year and half ago. During the comparison of the daily self-assessment email sent to all employees, there are major inconsistencies that the health and safety representative had no explanation for. Furthermore, the entire document was full on contradiction and inaccuracies. The company conceded that updates were necessary. We also discussed outdated PPE still in the field. The only confirmation of these discussions is that the Company will get back to us on that.
The Union requested the main Anthem representative appear before the committee to answer other questions regarding your healthcare.
The Union also amended one of its proposals and passed it to the company. The reason for the amendment was the delay in getting company responses to our information requests.
Your committee will continue to work throughout the weekend.
Have a safe and great weekend. Be prepared to ramp up mobilization starting on Monday.
We will continue to meet with the company to secure a fair contract.
United We Bargain, Divided We Beg
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee
