Union Family,

Today your bargaining committee met with the Company and it became very contentious early into the meeting by the Union taking the company to task over them wanting total control of your life by rejecting numerous Union proposals regardless if they were monetary or just a simple better working condition ask. With the expiration of our contract being around the corner, this committee has watched the company attack every benefit that we have and they have passed repeated retrogressive proposals to attack and strip away our Collective Bargaining Agreement. The company was questioned as to why the extended delay in providing the Union with the necessary information to be able to effectively evaluate the company proposals. The evolving antagonistic environment of these negotiations have not and will not dissuade your committee from seeking a fair agreement that meets the needs of our membership.
