FINAL BARGAINING REPORT CWA/CENTURYLINK
Dear CWA Members:
We are pleased to announce that CWA has reached a tentative agreement with CenturyLink on a new three year contract. We began bargaining on February 28, 2017 and continued into the early morning of March 15, 2017. I am proud of the work your bargaining committee did in order to present this tentative agreement to you. We are confident that we have negotiated the best settlement possible in this round of negotiations. Your bargaining committee unanimously recommends ratification of this agreement and thanks you for your support during these negotiations.
Duration
Three – year contract: March 15, 2017 to March 15, 2020.
Guaranteed Annual Base Wage Increase
March 15, 2017 2% Base Wage Increase
March 15, 2018 2% Base Wage Increase
March 15, 2019 2% Base Wage Increase
Wages - Compensated Availability
May 1, 2017 $26.00 Scheduled Work Day
May 1, 2018 $27.00 Scheduled Work Day
March 15, 2017 $55.00 Holiday
Safety Footwear
The Company will reimburse current employees in the identified titles at the time of ratification of this agreement 50% of the cost of the purchase of safety footwear, not to exceed $75.00.
MOA 401(K)
Amend MOA, effective March 15, 2019, the match will be .25 cents for every $1 contributed by the employee.
Contract Books
The Company agrees to pay for the entire cost of printing the labor agreement as part of the 2017 settlement agreement. Both parties agreed to endeavor to have the contract reviewed, proofed, and printed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after notice of ratification.
