Dish Network Bargaining Report #5

The joint committee met on November 18th and 19th in Grapevine, Texas.

The Company did not pass any counter proposals or any revised proposals.  The Union passed revised proposals on Article 5 – Grievance Procedure, Article 1 – Agreement and Article 2 – Recognition and Establishment of the Unit.  The Union agreed to paid days off and asked the Company to provide additional information on this Article.

The Union continued to discuss other proposals on Sick Time, Arbitration, and Seniority.

The Committees will continue to meet as time permits in an effort to move the negotiations forward.

Getting a first contract takes time, don’t be discouraged.  We need our members to “Stand Strong and United.”  Remember, United We Stand…Divided We Beg. Be proud to wear red on Thursdays and ask your co-workers to sign a card.
