CWA/Consolidated Communications of Fort Bend (Katy,Texas Operations) Bargaining Report #1

Negotiations between CWA and Consolidated Communications of Fort Bend (Katy, Texas Operations) were kicked off March 8, 2017. The Union advised the Company that the Union and bargaining unit employees want a fair contract that would include a fair wage increase and health care benefit premiums that would not include an increase in premiums. There were some proposals that were passed across the table by both groups and both groups spent the later part of the afternoon and evening studying each other's proposals. The Committees will meet again on March 9, 2017 to respond to the proposals.
