Bargaining Report #2

June 13, 2023

The Union and City met June 12, 2023. The Union presented UP7, Article 16 Hours of Work and Scheduling End of Section 4, UP8, Article 16 Hours of Work and Scheduling Sec. 6 Overtime, UP9, Article 17 Wages and Differentials, UP25, Employees Assistance Program, UP11, Article 18 Overtime Pay and Compensatory Time, UP12, Article 22 Personal Business Leave. The Union passed counter proposals for Article 16, Hours of Work and Scheduling, Section 2 Shifts, Article 21 Holidays Section 3, Article 26 Retirement System, a revised UP Article 21 Holidays, Section 3. The Union also presented an MOU for Days Off, and a Wage Proposal. The parties recessed for a couple of hours. 

Negotiations resumed late afternoon. The City passed a revised proposal package. The parties are scheduled to meet on Friday, June 23, 2023. 

The current work agreement will expire on June 30, 2023.
