CWA/CENTURYLINK/LUMEN LOCAL 6372 KS/MO Bargaining Report #1

The Union (CWA) and Company (CenturyLink/Lumen) kicked off bargaining on Monday, January 18, 2021, and continued throughout the week. The Union presented 21 proposals and the Company presented 21 proposals.

The parties reached a tentative agreement (TA) on the following proposals;

UP6, Article 12, Holiday Pay; UP10, Article 16, Grievance Procedure; CP3, Change Roman Numerals; CP4, Article 12, Transportation; Amended CP7, Article 3, Voluntary Termination; Union Counter to CP11, Article 7, Job Bids; and Union Counter to CP18, Article 20, Uniforms and Boots.

The Union has rejected retrogressive proposals from the Company such as layoff and rehire, workers compensation/vacation days, work schedules, and overtime.

The Union will be working over the weekend on counter proposals for our meetings next week.

We are scheduled to meet again on Monday, January 25, 2021.  Remember, your contract expires on January 31, 2021.
