CWA/CENTURYLINK LOCAL 6372 KS/MO BARGAINING REPORT #3

Your CWA Bargaining Committee met with the Company throughout the day, evening and night in an effort to reach an agreement on a new contract prior to the midnight expiration of the current Agreement. Late tonight as expiration neared, the Union presented the Company with a comprehensive package proposal to resolve all issues. The Company advised that they needed time to review and assess the Union’s latest offering and, with midnight approaching, the parties agreed to extend the current Agreement by one day and resume negotiations on Thursday morning. As such, we will continue working under the terms and conditions of the current Agreement through midnight Thursday night.

The Bargaining Committee appreciates the member’s continued support and patience as we work to achieve a successor contract.
