CWA Local 6218/Consolidated Communications Katy, TX Bargaining Report #6

CWA District 6 & Local 6218 continued bargaining with Consolidated Communications in person in Katy, TX.

The morning started with the Union passing our counter proposal to the Company’s Comprehensive offer. We continued to try and improve wages and secure some language we already have currently.

In the afternoon, we received a new Company Comprehensive plan in which the Company did give some movement on a general wage increase (still a long way to go) as well as drop their attempt to increase the amount of overtime hours you have to work to go into double time.

We spent the evening preparing our counter offer to be presented tomorrow morning.

Our next scheduled session will be tomorrow, March 21 at 9am.

Remember the Contract expires at midnight on March 31, 2023.
