CWA Local 6218/Consolidated Communications Bargaining Report #6

The Union and Company resumed negotiations virtually on 9-8-22. The morning session was spent looking at a counter proposal on call-out pay under Article 15. After receiving info that had been requested and asking questions, it was decided the current counter proposal by the Company would hurt us more than help us and was rejected by the Union.

In the afternoon session, we did housekeeping on all open proposals and where we are at with information requests.

The rest of the day was spent by the Union going through data received by the Company regarding Life Insurance, Healthcare, as well as a proposal of a new title.

Our next scheduled bargaining session is in person on Tuesday, September 20th.

Remember the Contract expires at midnight on October 15th, 2022.
