CWA Local 6218/Consolidated Communications Bargaining Report #4

The Union and Company resumed bargaining today virtually. The conversation and activity at the table was productive. There were proposal corrections and counters passed to implement required safety footwear reimbursement to the CBA.

While nothing was agreed upon today, there was rich discussion on healthcare, job titles and descriptions, as well as life insurance at retirement and employee concessions. We look forward to returning to the virtual table tomorrow morning to continue to work through these issues for the members’ best interest.

Our next scheduled bargaining session will be virtually on Wednesday, September 7.

Remember the Contract expires at midnight on October 15, 2022.
