CWA Local 6218/Consolidated Communications Bargaining Report #13

The Union and Company continued negotiations in person on 10-11-22.

We spent the morning passing our counter comprehensive plan and explaining everything to the Company. Our focus has been a decent pay raise, controlled healthcare cost, and potential solutions to the Company’s proposals.

Late evening we received the Company’s counter offer and there was some movement in wages as well as on their Healthcare proposal. We still have a very long way to go before the deadline, but it was a solid first day to the last week of Bargaining.

Our next bargaining session is Wednesday, October 12th in person.

Remember the Contract expires next Saturday, October 15th at midnight!
