The Union and the Company met again virtually today for several hours. We were able to tentatively agree to several proposals that will give improvements on work schedules by seniority and notification should they change schedules in Article 6, improvements to standby pay also in Article 6, a competitive wage for the new job title that was introduced, just to name a few highlights.
We continue to work through proposals that discuss holidays, wages increases, and work in a higher job title.
Overall, today was a very productive day and we made real progress in getting to a full tentative agreement by the deadline of midnight this Friday.
Our next scheduled virtual session will be tomorrow morning Wednesday, September 28th.
Remember the Contract expires at midnight on September 30, 2022.
