CWA Local 6174/Brightspeed of Texas Bargaining Report #6

The Union and the Company met again today virtually. After a long day of negotiating, we have reached a tentative agreement! Here are some of the highlights:

  • Five year contract with expiration date of 11/30/2027
  • Year 1 pay raise 3% retro to 10/3/2022
  • Year 2 at 2.5%, Year 3 at 2.5%, Year 4 at 3%, Year 5 at 3%
  • Two new fixed Holidays effective in 2023 - Martin Luther King Jr. &  Day After Thanksgiving
  • Payment for 2023 MLK Day for all Employees at regular rate of pay
  • Fixed Scheduling Issue
  • Fixed Temporary Work Issue
  • Introduced new job title – Enhanced Premise Technician
