CWA District 6 - Windstream - Bargaining Report #5
We resumed negotiations today, February 24, 2020 and we keep in the forefront of our minds that our current CBA expires this Friday, February 28, 2020 at midnight.
We met with the company multiple times today and continued researching their proposals and how they would affect us collectively. The company countered a couple of their initial proposals after your Bargaining Committee rejected them at the end of our last session on February 14, 2020. It appears both parties are committed to getting an agreement, but there are more issues to be resolved. Remind your managers that all we want is a fair and just contract!! Remember to wear red on Thursday and black on Friday.
