CWA District 6 - Windstream - Bargaining Report #3

Your Bargaining Committee met with the company for discussion over proposals and counter proposals that have been made from both sides.  We are currently reviewing information that has been requested from the company.  We are assessing pension and 401k data.  As your Committee, we are working diligently to gather as much information as possible to combat the retrogressive proposals made by the company.  You need to tell your managers that the members are not the cause for the bankruptcy but the CEO is and we will not take concessions to pay for their mistakes as they still collected over 15 million in salary, bonuses and incentives.  Stand up and demand a Fair and Just contract from the company.  Make sure you work to the rule and work safely.
